Shiloh
Operator? Operator? Canada’s new pop-punk dynamo, Shiloh, is calling up everybody out there who’s looking for something fun, fresh and unapologetically original. From the first time you hear Shiloh’s clamouring, ska-tinged first single “Operator (A Girl Like Me),” you’ll be hooked on this 16-year-old’s unique brand of righteously original rock n’ pop.
With a fierce voice twice her size – and attitude to match – this defiant singer-songwriter’s upcoming record delivers an authentic take on her generation. Shiloh co-wrote the majority of her album, which is sure to strike a chord with anyone who’s ever felt out of place in the world. And, in the same breath, Shiloh has also penned plenty of tracks – like dancey party-starter “Raise a Little Hell” – that are sure to provide the perfect soundtrack for those just looking to have a little fun! You’ll finally be able to hear what else she has tucked up her stylish sleeve when her debut album “Picture Imperfect” hits stores soon. Pick it up. Rock it out. Yell it loud!
The Latency
Fusing an underground edge with mainstream melodies, the Latency is the newest breed of band that will make you stand up and notice with blistering riffs and soaring melodies. Hailing from Maple Ridge BC, the Latency was formed two years ago when guitarist Ryan Stead and bass player Matthew Gendron met singer/guitarist Brandon Lehti at a local show that featured each of their respective bands on the bill. With all but one of the members just turned 18, they display a maturity and technicality well beyond their years.
