The Way We Feel – an ongoing live concert celebration of the songs of Gordon Lightfoot – brings a variety of Canada’s finest contemporary roots/blues/folk/jazz artists together to explore and showcase the songs of one of Canada’s greatest living songwriters.

 

First performed in 2003, this annual celebration has called Toronto’s Hugh’s Room home every January for 14 years for 3 sold out shows. The show has also toured Ontario 3 times (in 2005, 2006 and 2013) playing SRO-concerts in various soft seat theatres across the province. Over the years the concert has featured more than a 100 different Canadian artists, among them multiple Juno, ECMA, WCMA, Maple Blues and CFMA-award winners all bringing their unique musical vision to dozens of classic Lightfoot songs.

 

Gordon Lightfoot himself has even joined in and performed onstage at Hugh’s Room at a number of the January concerts.
